Planned plumbing work

Put several plumbing jobs into one clear enquiry

If you have more than one non-urgent job in mind, a single organised list is easier to discuss than several separate messages. Use the planner below to set out what you need and what depends on what.

Start with what you know ↓

Build your list of jobs

Add each job in your own words, then mark it as essential, would like, or not sure. You can add a note where one job has to happen before or after another.

The list can be copied or sent to the enquiry builder. Nothing is sent until you choose to send it, and an empty list simply stays empty.

  • Add one job per line, such as a leaking tap or a new basin
  • Mark each as essential, would like, or not sure
  • Note any job that must come before or after another
  • Copy the list or carry it into the enquiry builder

Prefer to write your own list? Include each job, its priority and any dependencies in your planned-work enquiry. Add the postcode, timing and who can arrange access.

Priority / 01

Essential

Jobs that need doing and that other plans depend on. These are the first items to settle in any reply.

  • Work you do not want to leave unresolved
  • Jobs that other work waits on
  • Anything with a date you cannot move
Priority / 02

Would like

Jobs you want done if timing and budget allow. They stay on the list so they can be planned alongside the essentials.

  • Improvements rather than repairs
  • Work that could be combined with an essential job
  • Jobs that can wait for a convenient time
Priority / 03

Not sure

Jobs where you are unsure whether work is needed or what it involves. Describe what you see and we can discuss it.

  • Something that looks or sounds wrong but is unclear
  • An idea you have not yet decided on
  • Work you would like advice on before deciding

What affects scheduling

Some practical details change how work can be arranged. Mentioning them early helps the conversation about timing stay realistic.

None of these are requirements to complete the planner. Include whatever you know and leave the rest for discussion.

  • Who lives or works at the property, and when it is quiet
  • Working hours the property allows
  • Parking and how to reach the work area
  • Other trades or deliveries that need to fit around the plumbing
  • Who can give permission, and whether that is you or someone else
Across properties / 02

Several properties or regular work

If you look after more than one property, or would like plumbing attended to on a regular basis, say so in your enquiry. We would treat that as a question to discuss rather than something this page offers.

This page does not describe contracts, schedules or compliance services. Tell us what you are hoping for and we can reply on whether it is possible.

  • How many properties are involved and where they are
  • What kind of regular attention you have in mind
  • Whether you are the owner or act for the owner

Send the list

When the list reads the way you want, carry it into the enquiry builder. It will arrive with your priorities and notes already in place, ready for you to add contact details and send.
